- What documents do I need to have to complete my mortgage application?
In addition to completing our Uniform Residential Loan Application, you should have the following documents with you: - W-2’s for the last two years.
- Federal tax returns for the last two years.
- Pay stubs that cover the most recent month.
- Last three months’ statements for checking and savings accounts.
- Names, addresses, account numbers, and monthly payments on all loans.
- For self employed applicants: signed copies of last two years’ Federal business tax returns and year-to-date financials.
- Will I be dealing with Citizens First Bank for the life of my loan, or will you sell my mortgage loan?
For most conventional loans, Citizens First Bank will service your mortgage loan for the life of the loan. However, we do sell Veterans Affairs (VA) loans and some rural development loans.
